WHETHER YOU'RE IN THERAPY OR JUST STARTING TO EXPLORE.
General Therapy Questions
-
I support individuals navigating complex trauma, including childhood emotional neglect, attachment trauma, identity-based trauma, and intergenerational patterns. I work with people healing from PTSD, C-PTSD, and relational wounds.
-
Attachment trauma occurs when emotional needs go unmet in childhood. In adulthood, it can show up as people-pleasing, avoidance, fear of intimacy, perfectionism, codependency, or emotional disconnection especially in close relationships and parenting.
-
It depends on your goals and how deep you’d like to go. Some people attend short-term for support or clarity, while others commit to longer-term healing work. We’ll discuss your goals together in our first session.
-
That’s completely valid. Many clients come to me after feeling unseen, dismissed, or pathologized elsewhere. Our work will center your voice, story, and nervous system. Our work will always be grounded in consent and emotional attunement.

Therapy Approaches I Use
-
IFS is a compassionate, non-pathologizing approach that sees your mind as made up of different “parts” like the inner critic, people-pleaser, protector, or wounded inner child. These parts developed to help you survive. In therapy, we build a relationship with them from your calm, curious, grounded center.
-
Parenting therapy helps caregivers understand how their own history impacts how they show up with their children. It supports you in breaking intergenerational cycles, regulating your nervous system, and building connection with your child through secure attachment and emotional attunement.
Many of the parents I work with are doing the brave work of healing while raising children. We’ll explore how your triggers and inner parts (like the inner child or inner critic) affect your parenting, and we’ll build tools for grounding, self-compassion, and connection.
-
My work focuses on parents and caregivers. Research shows that supporting you, the foundation of your child’s world, can lead to powerful change in your child’s emotional environment and long-term wellbeing. However, if including your child in our sessions feels important we can always explore that.

I currently accept Aetna.
For all other insurances, you may have out-of-network benefits, which means that insurance will reimburse you for a portion of our session cost. I have partnered with Thrizer to handle the out-of-network process automatically for you. With Thrizer, you will only have to pay a copay for our sessions post-deductible, instead of paying my full fee and waiting for reimbursements. This typically allows clients to save on average 70% upfront on our sessions. During our intake process, I can help you verify if you have out-of-network benefits and how much your co-insurance would be.
Yes, I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots to support access, especially for military/veterans and clients from marginalized communities disproportionately excluded from care.
